Kissabel Rouge Apple Review

Kissabel Rouge Apple

This blood-stained poilu is one of three French apple battalions serving La Grande Armée of the IFORED fruit consortium in their expansive endeavor to forge a red-fleshed global empire so brazen it would make Napoleon blush. The bulbous Kissabel Rouge mans the vanguard of this presumptuous attempt at a revolutionary coup de pomme flanked by the shocking Kissabel Jaune and the unprecedented Kissabel Orange. An astringent burgundy menace whose coat of arms fancies flourishes of berry, this treasonous terror may muster enough unrest to overthrow the establishment, even if for just a short time.

  1. Been trying to find this apple forever- where did you get it?

(Also, have you considered reviewing Pixie Crunch apples? I got some at a local orchard that were quite good, and as far as I can tell this site doesn’t have reviews for it)

  2. Found these at Whole Foods yesterday alongside the Aura apple. I really enjoy the tartness, the crispness, and the juiciness of this apple, but other than that, the overall flavor is kind of bland. I see that you have Lucy Glo down as a similar apple—I’d rather have a Lucy Glo than this, but considering good apple varieties are hard to come by in Hawaii, I guess I should be happy with whatever comes this way!

  3. Easily the worst experience of my life. If you would, let me set the scene. its 2012, I’m 17, and Mountain Dew is all the craze. I was walking into my city’s local game stop; my job at the time. In order to get to “The Stop” as me and my friends would say, I would had to walk by a alley way. I didn’t think much of it: but oh boy I should’ve. From behind one of the dumpsters I see a freakishly tall man, he was staring right at me; following me with his eyes. My heart begins to race, but before i can cross the alley, he beckons me to his presence. I approach him. “What am I doing, if I run, he wont catch me” I thought as I found myself standing face to him. “Have you ever tried… the kissabel?” My heart is pounding, what do I do? Luckily, as if he read my mind, he pulled out an apple deep within his trench coat. I take it from his cold and clammy hand and take a bite. Heaven. Pure. Heaven. As my eyes ceased the tears they allowed to fall, due to the spiritual experience that just washed over my body, I see the man sprinting. Sprinting like he is running from the inescapable grasp of death that follows us all. I never found that man after that. Ever since then i have chased the high I once had when I bit into the kissabel. From sleep deprivation to Salvia, I never experienced the same feeling. Because of the fact that i will never experience the kissabel like i did again, I have built a strong resentment for it. Thats why it was a bad experience. Thank you for your time.
